Osteopathy Melbourne

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of musculoskeletal therapy that takes an holistic approach to health and wellbeing. It considers the relationship between the whole body’s structure and how that can influence its function. Our osteopaths aim to support the body’s own self healing capabilities allowing the individual to recover, perform and excel. Treatments are tailored to each individual, and may vary along the course of your treatment.

Manual treatment consists of but not limited to:

  • Soft tissue massage

  • Joint manipulation and mobilisation

  • Stretching, PNF, Muscle energy technique

  • Exercise guided therapy

  • Dry needling

  • Cupping

Australian Osteopaths are registered by AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as primary healthcare practitioners alongside GPs, Nurses, Dentists, Podiatrists and many more. All Osteopaths are required to complete 25 hours of continued professional development (CPD) every year to maintain high standards of practice.
